Dr. Ghahramani is a board ertified family practice physician who has been with the Emanuel Family Practice & Specialty Associates since 2007 after he completed his training at Swedish Covenant Hospital in Chicago. He has also been a research physician at Cook County Hospital in Chicago and for Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan. His professional interests include general Family Practice and Preventive Medicine and Geriatrics. In addition to English, Dr. Ghahramani speaks Persian, Turkish and Assyrian.

Sarah Hamidi, M.D. Primary Care Physician
Originally from Iran, Dr. Hamidi earned her MD at the University of Isfahan Medical School before completing a general medicine internship in 1991.

Thomas Johnson, M.D. Primary Care Physician
Dr. Johnson is board certified in family practice and speaks both Spanish and English. He received his undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley, earned his medical degree from UC Irvine and completed his family practice residency at the Ventura County Medical Center. He was a clinical instructor at the UC Davis Nurse Practitioner & Physician Assistant program and for several years served as chairman of Emanuel Medical Center's Ethics Committee.

Gulnara Tarpe, D.O. Primary Care Physician
Dr. Tarpe is board certified in family practice. Prior to coming to California, Dr. Tarpe practiced in Illinois and Ohio. She completed her family medicine residency at St. Joseph Health Center in Ohio, her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and a Doctor of Medicine from the First Tashkent Medical School in Uzbekistan. Dr. Tarpe speaks Russian, Uzbeck and English.

Shelle Glover, M.D. Family Practice Physician
Shelle Glover, MD has joined Emanuel Family practice and will soon help open the Emanuel Family Practice office in Patterson.
Dr. Glover comes to Turlock a world traveler, having lived or worked in West Africa, South Africa, South America, and Calcutta, India prior to joining Emanuel.
Dr. Glover grew up in Augusta, Georgia and received a BS in biochemistry and a minor in Spanish from the University of Georgia in 1999. She then spent time in Ghana with the Peace Corps before returning the U.S., where she received a masters in public health from Tulane University’s School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Glover completed medical school at Medical College of Georgia in 2009 and moved to California where she completed her family medicine residency and board certification at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center in Martinez.
She is excited to become part of the community and looks forward to providing broad spectrum care to those who need it most.
