Annual Kool Kars for Charity Car Show Returns to Fairgrounds in Turlock
Turlock, CA- The Kool Kars for Charity hot rod show returns to the Stanislaus County Fairgrounds in Turlock on September 15. The 11th annual show raises money to benefit Turlock's Hospice of Emanuel and the Parent Resource Center in Modesto.
More than 350 hot rods, street muscle cars and show cars and trucks are expected again this year, all of which spectators can see for free. In addition to the cars, there will be live entertainment, food and raffles for exhibitors and spectators alike.
Last year's show raised $7,000 for Hospice of Emanuel. The first 250 cars to register this year will receive two free lunches and other special giveaways. Registration is $30 and cars can register the morning of the event. The show will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Kool Kars for Charity is sponsored by the Stanislaus County Fair, Silva Welding, Wiley Printing Co. and Don Harmon. For more information or to enter a car, call Don at 993-6929.
