Mary Stuart Rogers Birthing Center
Emanuel's Mary Stuart Rogers Birthing Center provides expectant families with a beautiful home-like atmosphere within a state-of-the-art-equipped hospital.
The Birthing Center has eight specially designed labor-delivery-recovery rooms. The décor and atmosphere in each of the rooms is warm, inviting and home-like, but they are also all equipped with the latest medical equipment and instruments discretely hidden behind cabinet doors.
The Birthing Center features the high-tech birthing beds and complimentary patient-room furniture, including an extra bed so a support person can stay with the expectant mom during and after the baby's birth.
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
The Mary Stuart Rogers Birthing Center also includes a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit that allows low birth-weight babies or babies born with certain medical complications to be cared for at Emanuel Medical Center. Our on-site pediatric hospitalists attend complicated births and care for infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
