Accreditation & Quality Measures
At Emanuel Medical Center, we are committed to providing the highest quality care and outstanding medical services for our patients and their families.
The Joint Commission accredits Emanuel Medical Center. Joint Commission standards address organizational quality, safety-of-care issues, and the safety of the environment in which care is provided. These standards represent benchmarks of quality for each and every patient. Emanuel undergoes a rigorous unannounced survey every three years to assess our compliance with The Joint Commission standards of care, and Emanuel Medical Center diligently strives to meet the high standards of care set by The Joint Commission.
If you have concerns about the safety or quality of your care, we would like to hear about it. While in the hospital, we encourage you to report your concerns to your immediate caregiver and/or to hospital leadership by contacting the Director of the department that is providing your care.
If you have already been discharged please contact Barbara Ussery, at (209) 664-5149, or submit your comments through our website by clicking Share Your Story.
Finally, anyone with unresolved concerns about the safety or quality of care provided by Emanuel Medical Center may report these concerns to The Joint Commission.
