Bill & Elsie Ahlem Cancer Endowment

The Bill & Elsie Ahlem Cancer Endowment is a permanent fund that expands cancer services, research and prevention and education programs in the community. Created by the hard work and generosity of Legacy Circle volunteers and donors over a three-year period, the Bill & Elsie Ahlem Cancer Endowment will make a variety of important services available for cancer patients and their families for generations to come. Services include: 

• Early detection and cancer-prevention programs
• Education and support groups
• Our Concierge Service, which helps people access all of Emanuel's Regional Cancer Services
• A cancer library and education center, in collaboration with the Stanford University Medical Library
• Genetic risk assessment, counseling and testing
• Clinical research and participation in national clinical trials
